Service types allow you to categorize work orders. By default, the dispatching module includes a “New order” service type. It includes basic customer information fields that can be completed by the order taker via the web app. If your subscription level allows it, you can create additional service types for each kind of work your company performs. For example, create separate service types for deliveries, installations, emergency service calls, and routine maintenance visits.
Optionally, you can also set up order entry fields corresponding to the service. These fields appear on the web app when an order is taken. Once the order is dispatched, the entered data is sent to the assigned user via the mobile app.
